Seeing how many of my friends were struggling after becoming first-time parents, I knew there was a need for my skills in the postpartum space. In addition to my decade of experience working as a Registered Dietitian, I spent a year training under the extraordinary Kylie Field, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and the many amazing IBCLC Nurses at the IWK in Halifax before opening up my own private practice.  

I completed my science degree and training in dietetics at St.FX University and have been working as a Registered Dietitian since 2011. My areas of specialty include maternal and infant nutrition, diabetes, and breastfeeding education.  My lived experience of low milk supply, exclusive pumping, and tongue tied babies alongside my passion for lifelong learning makes me a great fit for you and your family.  

In 2020 I shifted my practice to incorporate a coaching approach to the care I provide. I recognize that each of my clients are experts in their own lives and as a result my recommendations are highly individualized and co-created.
